Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), or Ordo of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective converts to Catholicism who are above the age of infant baptism. Candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of Catholic beliefs and practices. The basic process applies to adults and older children. Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil,  thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States.

Classes meet on  Sundays  at 10:30 am in the Parish Office Conference Room.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of family, faith, and the blessings we share.
In this week of gratitude, open our hearts to remember Your goodness.
Teach us to see Your hand in every joy and every challenge.
Bless our homes with peace, our tables with abundance, and our community with unity.
May our lives always reflect a spirit of thanksgiving to You.
